Exploring Interpersonal Language in Wedding Discourse on Social Media

As evidenced by YouTube's rising online popularity, sharing experiences via social media is becoming more and common. Since the advent of digital media, communication experience have changed. A wedding speech an intriguing example this genre, where speaker naturally expresses gratitude to newlyweds guests while reliving family history. By recognizing important linguistic elements, audience can better understand interpersonal ties presented. The present study aimed explore language investigate significant features through a spoken analysis YouTube videos. Approximately 2.5 hours (and 13,707 words) worth real audio-visual recordings speeches were gathered transcribed. theoretical foundation for strengthened systemic functional linguistics (SFL). findings discussions section provides comprehensive review as it relates appraisal theory, example, context variables genre register lexico-grammatical features. These investigated comprehend underlying meanings in various strata domains. advances our knowledge how shapes speakers' communicative behavior discourse insight into novel text form.
